The MC-II Plus EXP features a low-power microprocessor and a large LCD display that simultaneously shows a 7-digit accumulated volume and a 6-digit flow rate. The analyzer supports common engineering units such as BBL, GAL, MCF, and m³ for volume, and BPD, GPM, MCF/D, and m³/D for flow rate. The display updates every two seconds, providing operators with continuous and accurate process information.
The instrument can operate using an internal 3.6 VDC lithium battery, an external 8–30 VDC power supply, or a 4–20 mA current loop with battery backup. Under normal conditions, the internal battery can provide approximately two years of operation, reducing maintenance requirements in remote installations. Reverse polarity protection is included for enhanced reliability and equipment safety.
The MC-II Plus EXP includes several standard communication and output functions, including pulse output, flow meter frequency output, remote reset capability, and a 4–20 mA analog output proportional to flow rate. Optional dual relay pulse outputs are also available for integration with remote monitoring systems, PLCs, SCADA networks, and control equipment. The instrument incorporates a security access code feature to prevent unauthorized changes to calibration data and accumulated volume records.
