Supplier Fisher® FIELDVUE™ DVC6200 Digital Valve Controller | The Fisher® FIELDVUE™ DVC6200 Digital Valve Controller is a microprocessor-based HART® communication instrument with non-contact position feedback that converts current signals into pneumatic output for precise valve control.

The DVC6200 instrument performs three essential functions:
• Traditional control valve positioning by converting a 4–20 mA DC input signal from the process controller into a pneumatic output signal to the actuator.
• Automatic calibration and configuration by utilizing advanced microprocessor technology.
• Communication capability through the HART® communication protocol to provide instrument status and valve diagnostic information.
This instrument provides a single platform for pneumatic actuator applications. The DVC6200 can be installed on sliding-stem or rotary actuators and supports both single-acting and double-acting configurations.
Key Advantages of FIELDVUE™ Instruments:
Improved Control
Two-way digital communication provides real-time valve condition information, enabling better process management decisions based on accurate operating data.
Enhanced Safety
Instrument and valve operation can be monitored remotely, helping maintain safe and stable process operation while minimizing personnel exposure to hazardous environments and difficult-to-access valve locations.
Environmental Protection
Additional terminal connections allow leak detectors or limit switches to be integrated directly with the FIELDVUE digital valve controller. The instrument can generate alerts if preset limits are exceeded, reducing the need for additional field wiring.
Built for Reliability
FIELDVUE digital valve controllers feature fully encapsulated printed circuit boards designed to withstand vibration, temperature variations, and corrosive environments. The field wiring compartment is isolated from the instrument electronics to enhance durability and protection.
Increased Uptime
Advanced self-diagnostic capabilities allow users to evaluate valve performance and instrument health without removing the valve from the process line, reducing maintenance time and improving plant availability.
Faster Commissioning
Bidirectional communication enables quick commissioning procedures, allowing remote instrument identification, calibration verification, maintenance record review, and faster startup activities.
Designed for Durability and Easy Maintenance
The DVC6200 features a modular design. The master module can be removed from the instrument housing without disconnecting field wiring, pneumatic connections, or stem linkage. This module contains the critical subassemblies, making maintenance and component replacement quick and simple.
