The Hattersley Fig. 1732 Balancing Valve (Bronze) is a Fixed Orifice Double Regulating Valve (FODRV) designed for precise flow regulation, measurement, and balancing in HVAC, heating, cooling, and water distribution systems. The valve incorporates a fixed orifice design with integral test points, eliminating the need for a separate Double Regulating Valve (DRV) and metering station, resulting in a simpler and more cost-effective installation.
The valve body is manufactured from high-quality bronze in accordance with BS EN 1982 CC491K, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. It is operated by a handwheel with a numerical indicator, allowing easy adjustment and system commissioning. Hattersley’s FODRV technology offers flow measurement and balancing accuracy of up to ±5% across all valve settings, ensuring optimum hydraulic performance and improved energy efficiency.
