Main Function
The DVC6200 receives a control signal from a PLC, DCS, or other process-control system and converts that signal into pneumatic output pressure to move the valve actuator to the required position.
For example:
4 mA → Valve approximately 0% open
12 mA → Valve approximately 50% open
20 mA → Valve approximately 100% open
The controller continuously monitors actual valve travel through its feedback system and adjusts the pneumatic output to achieve the commanded position.
