The Fisher EZR is a spring-loaded, pilot-operated regulator designed to reduce high inlet pressure to a controlled downstream pressure. Working Principle
The EZR uses a pilot control system to operate the main valve.

- When downstream pressure falls below the set point, the pilot changes position and increases loading pressure on the main diaphragm.
- The main valve opens further, allowing increased gas flow.
- As downstream pressure reaches the set point, the pilot adjusts the loading pressure and the main valve moves toward the required position.
- This continuous modulation maintains the desired downstream pressure.
Because the pilot controls the main valve, the EZR can achieve higher capacity and more accurate pressure regulation than many conventional direct-operated regulators.
