The AD-V design can be installed directly between standard companion pipe flanges and does not require a special rupture disc holder. The rupture disc is supplied with pre-attached gaskets on both sides, simplifying installation and ensuring proper sealing between the mating flanges.
The standard construction utilizes 316 stainless steel top and bottom sections with a fluoropolymer seal, while other material configurations can be specified depending on the process media and application requirements. The AD-V has a 50% operating ratio, allowing the system to operate below the specified rupture pressure while maintaining an appropriate safety margin.
The AD-V is intended for overpressure protection only. Unlike the standard AD version, which can provide overpressure and/or vacuum protection, the AD-V is designed to rupture in one direction and withstand vacuum conditions according to its specified configuration.
