Hazardous Area Protection
The switch is fitted with a Killark explosion-proof enclosure, specifically designed for installation in hazardous locations where flammable gases or vapors may be present. The enclosure prevents ignition of the surrounding atmosphere by containing any internal explosion.
Operating Function
The CCS 6900GCEM14 pressure switch continuously monitors system pressure. When the process pressure reaches the preset adjustable set point (between 9 and 75 PSIG), the internal switching mechanism changes state, providing an electrical output signal for alarms, interlocks, shutdown systems, or process control. The switching point can be adjusted externally using the Increase/Decrease adjustment mechanism without disassembling the enclosure.
