Its rugged construction includes a powder-coated epoxy finish for enhanced corrosion resistance and durability in harsh operating environments. The regulator is available in multiple body materials, including cast aluminum, ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, and low-temperature carbon steel (LCC), making it suitable for standard, corrosive, and low-temperature services. NACE-compliant versions are also available for sour gas applications.

The P627 features a balanced valve design and offers multiple body orientations for installation flexibility. It is available with internal or external pressure registration and supports a wide range of body connections, including NPT threaded, RF flanged, RTJ flanged, and socket weld connections.
