Working Principle
The VEGAPULS 6X transmits high-frequency radar signals toward the surface of the product. When the radar signal reaches the product surface, part of the signal is reflected back to the sensor.
The transmitter measures the time of flight of the radar signal and calculates the distance between the sensor and product surface. Using the configured vessel dimensions, the system converts this distance into the actual level value.
