The J-Series uses a direct spring-loaded design, in which the process pressure acts directly on the valve disc while a calibrated spring provides the closing force. When the system pressure reaches the predetermined set pressure, the valve opens automatically and releases the excess fluid. Once the pressure decreases to the reseating pressure, the valve closes again.
