Operating Principle

The BELGAS P212H employs a pilot-operated regulating system. The pilot senses downstream pressure and modulates the loading pressure applied to the main diaphragm. As downstream pressure decreases due to increased demand, the pilot opens and allows the main valve to open proportionally, increasing gas flow. When downstream pressure reaches the set point, the pilot automatically adjusts the loading pressure, returning the main valve to its balanced position.
